About Me

Like many other pet sitters, I am a refugee from an indoor desk job who has chosen to build a second career combining my love of the outdoors with my love for animals. I truly enjoy getting to know each of my clients' animals and going for long walks in the woods with many of the dogs in my care.

My pet-sitting career began while I was still working full-time. Around 1994, I began doing overnight pet care for friends and acquaintances who were away on business or vacation. Later, I worked briefly for the Humane Society in Nashua. At this time I realized that my life's work would be with animals, and in 2003 I started Cruz'n Pets.

I was one of those kids who always had animals: Not only cats and dogs, but all kinds of animals large and small -- mice, hamsters, birds, rabbits, horses, ducks and more. My clients are often surprised at how easily I make friends with their animals -- the dog that is protective of its space, the cat that always hides from the pet sitter.

As an animal owner, I know the problems you face arranging care for your pets when you cannot care for them yourself. My committment to you and to the animals is to provide you with worry-free care of your pets in your absence so that you are free to concentrate on the tasks that have taken you away from home.

I am also an avid amateur photographer. My favorite subjects are nature and animals. Visit my gallery of photographs to see a collection of photographs of my clients' animals.
